A couple friends of mine and I are thinking about running the NPT in one shot sometime next year, probably a weekend between late August and mid September. We've all done numerous trail ultra marathons, including 100 milers.
We'll be doing it ultra-style: carrying several hours-worth of water and food at all times and also have some friends acting as a crew meeting us several times along the way to restock, change socks, put on warm clothes and head lamps for overnight, etc.
Has anyone on the forum run it in one shot like that? Any advice or lessons learned?
