An excercise I've never done, but always wanted to is board breaking. As we're grading currently, we've been told to bring about 20 25 mm pine boards 300 x300 mm
Does anyone have experience in this? Seems he is expecting a lot, are they difficult to break?
At my old school, a test for 2 nd Dan included 1 board break, one first Dan had about 4 hits at it, bloody knuckles later and he finally Broke it.
