western ADK ski touring

this friday My wife and I will be making our way west to rochester via 90, and will probably stay over/camp somewhere around Utica.

Im not sure if im being too hopeful, but if its possible id like to get a little bit of skiing in, if there is enough coverage, either XC or some mild skinning/downhill

prettymuch all of my time thus far in the ADK has been spent in the high peaks, so im not familiar with what might be available in the western part of the park. any recommendations of where to possibly do some skiing, or park a campervan for the night would be great!
