Afternoon ADK,
I am planning a trip the second week in January<weather permitting>. I have never been to the Loj in winter, I am wondering what the parking availability looks like. I'll be heading up Marcy via the Van H trail on the Saturday. I took a summer tour a few years ago from the loj over Alqonquin to lake Colden and returned via trail 74. The parking was pretty busy, I ended up having to park way down by the bridge and had to walk up to the trail-head, roughly an extra 2 miles added to my day.
Is it that busy during the winter weekends?
