Fishing Tackle.

Hello all! I'm planning a fishing trip this May, probably mid May, and would like to know what fishing tackle would be best to try? I'm planning to fish the St Regis, Green Pond, Little Long, and maybe one other. Just trying to get an idea of what to use. Some questions that come to mind would be recommended rod length, line type and lbs, recommended bait, fishing techniques and tips? Best time of day to fish? Trolling? Casting? What do you all recommend. What have you had luck on in the past in there? Thank you!
