The Adirondack Architecture Guide

:Peek:
Hello everyone it has been some time since I have posted on the forum. A wife and two toddlers haven't given me as much free time to tromp through the mountains like I used to, so I haven't had much to talk about with regard to the Adirondacks.

I haven't completely abandoned the Adirondacks or this forum, which brings me to the point of this post. Over the past several years I have been working with Janet Null on a project called The Adirondack Architecture Guide. The guide is meant to be the first comprehensive guide to the building and other significant structures from the 18th century through our contemporary time within the Adirondacks.

The first of three books will be available in book stores and online at the beginning of July and is titled, The Adirondack Architecture Guide, Southern-Central Region. The book is broken into 14 marked tours on the ground or by water as well as 11 companion essays. Each tour is accompanied by detailed maps and photographs.

I will try to post updates such as book signings and other events here on the forum, but information can also be found at http://ift.tt/2rpzVk6. Where you can also download a few free tours and essays in pdf format.
