I explored Somer Brook Gorge several weeks ago in SGL 57 in PA.* A rugged, beautiful place with many waterfalls, rapids, cascades, pools, and gorges.* There are deep spruce forests at the top of the plateau with carpets of moss.* Somer Brook was swollen with rain, becoming a raging whitewater river.* A place of magnificent and isolated beauty.*
