FIFA 18 release set to buck key Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PS4 games trend

THE FIFA 18 release looks set to become one of the initial games to buck the most recent trend in PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch announcements.

There is lingering hope that titles including Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty WW2 will at some point be announced for Nintendo Switch.

On the other hand, there is currently only a handful of big games which can be confirmed for all three consoles, with FIFA 18 Coins proving to become among the greatest.

New FIFA 18 release news is set to launch subsequent month, through the EA Play event.

EA Play tickets go on sale in April and will include things like a host of new titles which will be playable on the show floor.

The development team announced plans to release FIFA on Nintendo Switch earlier this year, but fans had been unsure no matter whether it could be FIFA 17 or FIFA 18.

EA's Peter Moore confirmed the news, telling Gamereactor UK that the new FIFA will be custom-built for Nintendo's console.

"Well, as we have mentioned, we are custom-building a FIFA Coins version for the Nintendo Switch," he revealed.

"It might be FIFA 18, and it's going to definitely be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out."
