I've had been in training in Full Contact Kickboxing/K1 Rules Kickboxing for two years, and Muay Thai for 8 months (I still train in Muay Thai) and have currently taken up a Boxing class once a week as well. They all have/had a competitive focus, and I have competed and am an active Muay Thai fighter. None of the clubs really have/had any major focus on grading systems (though they do have systems in place).
What I would like to do is get into instruction. I have taught within both my old club (beginners classes once a week) and at my current club (temporary pad sessions once a week), and have taught privately, and really enjoyed the experience. I'm seriously considering the idea of pursuing obtaining proper instructors credentials and I am wondering if any UK Map members have any advice or experience obtaining the right credentials, and qualifications, to teach in the arts I have experience within in the UK?
