Hey guys wondering if you could help me plan a trip. I've been going up to the ADKs for some time now, and now that I am a teacher, I get a whole summer to do it :) I live in NJ which is basically a giant cesspool of garbage and mean people, so I figured my time would be better spent up north.
I've camped at Saranac many times, and have fished most of the lakes in the region. So fishing is big on my list. I've actually made 2 trips to saranac already this year and got my paddlers map ready to go :) I'm thinking maybe going from long pond to Saranac to St Regis.
I could go on and ramble for awhile, so i'm jut going to list random bullet points.
1. 7 days is just an estimate. Time really isn't really a problem, and I don't want to be rushed at all.
2. A loop would be preferable, but after looking online I saw I could get a ride back from some of the outfitters in the area.
3. I've been paddling my whole life but never really paddled serious whitewater. So dying isn't in my plans.
4. I love fishing. Bigger on bass and pike, then trout.
And that's basically it, any help would be awesome!
