The other thread on the preponderance of Subies prompted me to ask this question. I'm looking at getting a 2014 or 2015 Outback (recently sold a 2001 that I bought new). The newly designed roof rack is of course much different from what I had, and I expect my Thule rack will not work. The cross rails now pivot and can be stowed to avoid drag when not in use, but when in place they seem very close together. I have a 16' canoe and am concerned about whether or not the factory roof rack will work. Anyone have experience with this?
