Might seem an odd question, but I've been looking at different Kung Fu related subjects lately since my interest is growing since my training started and came across something I'd like an answer on.
I've read that Fanzi/tumbling fist is a style of its own, but then Fanzi forms exist outside of the 'Fanziquan style' refered to as a 'Fanzi method of attack' apparently a form of it exists in Eagle Claw, but also in other styles as well. I've also heard Fanzi influenced the strikes in Shuai Juia and Chuo Jiao (only one source for this though) and is another name for Ba Fa Man.
I'm finding Fanzi in this form
and then a totally different eagle system
Cotton Palm I've also heard referred to as a form, a style and as a specific striking method as well, so I'm not entirely sure if all of this is true.
for example with Cotton Palm there is this:
and this
Is there some root of origin between them all sharing names in both cases?
