I'm told by an older man that there is a gun turret from a B29 bomber on the East side of Blue Ridge Mountain in the Hoffman Notch Wilderness.
He saw it years ago, but was unable to find it again when he later tried to find it again.
Has anyone else seen this or heard about it?
