I was thinking that I hadn't encountered weapons similar to the butterfly/bull's ear knives in European culture. I'm not sure that I have seen it that much outside of Chinese martial arts actually.
Anyone, west or east, use these types of paired, wide knives? Do you use them to chop/slash/stab? Do you use one to entangle your opponents weapon while you attack with the other? Is their use different in your system?
