I want to head out to the WCLWA friday to sunday and do the french louie loop. I have a few questions that i cant find any recent information on.
Are the trails overly muddy in this area? Looks like rain tomorrow and friday. And it also sounded like there was alot of beaver activity in the area.
What are the water crossings like? I've read a few posts that declared bridge repairs/outages, but nothing of late.
Is there snow currently on the ground in the area? I hiked bradley pond to duck hole and out to upper works last weekend, and there was some snow on the ground from bradley pond to just past duck hole. Looks like this area is just slightly lower elevation and am curious how much snow is there.
I'm also assuming use of this area for backpacking is low during this time of year, so I'm planning on staying in lean-tos and probably won't pack my tent.
