Mt. Marcy Conditions

Hello!
My Boyfriend and I are planning a late April hike up Mt. Marcy. Can anyone tell me what the trail conditions are typically like at this time of the year? I'm trying to prepare our packing list!
Our plan is to use two days to hike the trail.
