Upper Works Hudson River

Not looking for anyone's secret spots, just wondering what kind of fish would be caught in the Upper Hudson River near Upper Works Trailhead. Are trout stocked there? Would there be Smallmouth and Pike in the slower sections. Is is OK to put a kayak in there? Been away from the Forum for a while. Thanks
