Cedar River Flow Fishing

Is Cedar River Flow a warm water bass type fishery or a cold water trout fishery? Planning a solo canoe camping fishing trip for Thursday through Labor Day at the end of the month but have not decided where, but I want to know what kind of tackle to bring if I decide to go there....
