Has this been done, attempted, or is it a waste of time with no official trail (e.g., choked with conifers, witchhobble, or otherwise too brutal to attempt).
I was thinking of attempting a route that takes me from Little Moose pond over Pillsbury, up Blue Ridge, and then connecting the dots to Snowy. The guidebook describes the 'whack up Blue Ridge as "difficult", but it can't be any worse than what I did last weekend (not that I particularly want to replicate that for 3 or 4 days). If all the summits are like Wakely then I would think it would be exceedingly slow going and generally pointless.
