Gi Emboidery

For some time I have been looking to get some Japanese kanji embroidered on my Gi, this has to be embroidered on the seem/hem. I have tried several sewing/embroidery places in Scotland without any luck, most saying the Gi is to thick and would break the needles.

I know this can be done, as many of my fellow Japanese martial artists have kanji embroidered on their Gi's.



Anyone got any ideas of any budo shops/sewing shops etc that might be able to help me out.



Any help would be appreciated
