How safe would you say it is hiking in the ADKs with a hat like this? I haven't been shot yet but I did startle a bow hunter once who thought I was a bear. I prefer hats like these because not only do they make me feel more primal and in the elements but they're very warm and the long hand pockets make for excellent scarfs when need be. I don't wish to be mistaken by an animal that others like to shoot at, however.
