A few friends and I are driving up next weekend for the Adirondack Brewery's annual Festival of Barrels and I may head up early to get a hike in before the party starts.
I was just curious about the current snow cover. Checking the latest forecast, LG isn't supposed to get much precip. over the next week but it looks like it's going to be cold enough to hold what's currently on the ground.
Specifically I'm looking at Pilot Knob, Cat Mountain, or maybe something on the Tongue. Nothing too rigorous, I just want to break a little sweat before the Fest.
We still in Microspike territory?
Any input and even hike suggestions for the area would be appreciated.
