4 Day Backpacking Trip - Corey's to Adirondack Loj

My fiancee and I are looking to do a 4 day/3 night backpacking trip over Labor day weekend. We like to average about 10-13 miles a day, with 45-50 miles total. We'l hit the trail on Saturday morning and finish on Tuesday afternoon. We're driving from Philly, so we'll only have 1 car. I was hoping we could do a loop, but after taking a look at my Trails Illustrated map, it appears that we could do the Corey's loop in only 3 days. After a bit of planning, I was able to find the point to point route below. I like it because it includes the seclusion of the West (when it'll be peak Labor day weekend time) and also the High Peaks (we'll summit Mt Marcy on Tuesday after Labor Day). We'll also get to see Indian Pass. I read an article just yesterday about how amazing this view is.

Leave car at Corey's TH, hike to Cold River - 11.5
Cold River to Duck Hole - 11.2
Duck Hole to Lake Colden (or further if we're feeling inclined): 12.6
Lake Colden over Mt Marcy to Adirondack LOJ: 11.75
47 Miles total

To get back to the car/origin, we're going to stash (or lock) our bicycles up at Adirondack Loj, bike to Priceless car rental (8 miles from Loj,, 40 minute ride), grab a rental car, drive back to Corey's TH, I'll get in our car, fiancee will drive rental back to Priceless, we drop off Priceless and then head home. I called Priceless today and it's only $39 for the rental.

Any comments or concerns about this route? How are the trails for this route/anything closed or tough to navigate? I see that the trail 72 labeled "Tr from Lake Colden to Indian Pass Tr" is a thinly dotted line. Will this be hard to follow?
