Tuesday we had a case here in Spain where a wrestling coach (ex military), probably under the influence of drugs, injured 6 policemen, 2 of them 'special intervention'. 10 police where needed in all, and they ended needing to use their riot protections. They had gone to detain him for menacing his ex girlfriend.
The article is in Spanish. "Profesor de lucha libre" should mean he is a wrestler, a coach, but you never know with reporters. It might be MMA. It might be something else.

3 days ago we had another case where a Valetudo (or once again, maybe MMA) fighter asked two policemen to help him with a woman that was troubling him, and for some reason he punched one of the policemen in the face, who fell and hit the ground badly (he is in hospital now).
So, MMA - MA could start getting bad press in Spain, one thinks. Or maybe not, as only small press / specialised press is reporting so far. The 2013 case of the 'shaolin monk' who killed some prostitutes had lots of press and it was soon all forgotten.
