I've heard of an insect repellent that is made in the Adirondacks by some one who has made it their mission to create a non-toxic remedy to repel biting bugs...ticks especially. Can't remember the name. But I've heard it is incredibly effective for all kinds of conditions and localities. Any one know the name or other information?
