This is a beautiful place in the Bald Eagle State Forest, featuring deep, wooded valleys with streams, rhodo jungles and tunnels, rock outcrops, fern meadows, and talus slopes. Isolated and serene, it is worth a visit. I didn't see much wildlife, but I did run into a box turtle and hear the beautiful song of the winter wren.
