man,van and dog seek advice about tahawus and powley-piseco rd

hey all,



im headed out for my annual van camping trip in early sept with my dog, hopefully to avoid crowds of people and crowds of bugs



wouldnt mind some input from those that have first hand knowledge



i plan on checking out tahawus, thought i would camp at lake harris...



-are there any other van camping options closer to tahawus?

-any day hikes around tahawanus?



ive spent some time in moose river plains and plan on camping there again, but thought i would check out powely-piseco rd as well...



-any advice on camp site options?

-any day hikes in the area?
