I’ve been traipsing around the Pigeon Lake Wilderness as of late – nice area of the park, close to home and I am scouting out potential trails for x-country skiing/snowshoeing this winter. By early accounts, it’s supposed to be a good one.
I wanted to hike into Chub Lake today. Not via the Windfall Pond trailhead – too time challenged to do 12 miles today – but rather near Craig Point Road. My google searches didn’t turn up any trailhead information for that area, but I thought if I drove up there I’d be sure to find it. Even though I’ve never been successful with this method before.
And I was right. I couldn’t find it. So Plan B was utilized and very much enjoyed.
But I’d still like to find this trailhead. Any ideas of where it might be found?
