Some Pics

warm water temps has the board quiet so i figured ill put up some pics. we had a window a few weeks ago where the lower temps made for some fishable water in some areas so i made my way out to some eastern streams/rivers. got into some nice wild fish, couple of some size but nothing too crazy. was just nice to get out. the nicer of the 2 bows was taken by marquekugs, was an incredible fish but the second a better, more focused close up pic was about to be taken it saw its opportunity and flopped into the water and GONE.

I'm also posting this to find out what the hell kind of nymph this is. it was HUGE. i am assuming it was a stonefly as it looks like a stonefly nymph. the only thing on the chart for this body of water is a "little yellow stonefly" which there is nothing little about this. i am guessing golden stonefly, but it didnt have the segmentation (is that just because of how big it is?). the out of focus pic shows my size 12 wooly bugger on a rock to the right you can see how the nymph dwarfs it. this nymph was probably a solid 3" long
