Stainless steel OK for carrying single malt?

I've recently began sampling the art of single malt scotches. I will be traveling soon and would like to bring a little with me. I don't want to bring a glass bottle because I need to check it in my baggage. I was thinking of getting a small Kleen Kanteen to carry it. Is there any reason a fine single malt shouldn't be carried in stainless steel. Thought this was a good place to ask since I know many of you indulge in single malts during your wildness excursions.
