Hey guys, just looking for some input here. I am planning on bringing my girlfriend to Mirror Lake for Memorial Day weekend. It is the only weekend for the entire summer that works for our schedules, so it's then or nothing. Just curious, how are the black flies usually around that time and area? It is her first time going to the Adirondacks and I want it to be enjoyable, as I am trying to slowly ease her into doing outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, etc.) Any thoughts?
