It seems Simon Gardner and Chad Smith have left Pete's shop to start their own Adirondack Canoe Company in Minerva. They've a rudimentary web site up; no model dimensions up at all. One image shows a production mold in process. Another indicates a cane sat back with no footpegs. With one of the three pages dedicated to "Cure" they may be using epoxy resin. Hard to say, not knowin'.



With SlipStream firing up last year and Swift offering a 10 footer this year the minimalist pack canoe market is getting crowded.
