The weather was cold, but the Brook Trout fishing is sure heating up. I made it out to my favorite pond Tuesday for an overnight trip. My cold weather gear was put to the test as night time temperatures dipped into the low 20s. When I awoke at 5am Wednesday morning the temp was 21 degrees. Thanks to a warm down bag and down socks, I made it through the night. Here are a few brookies and my down socks:rolling:
