Last Section Hike - Long Lake to Lake Placid (9/27 - 9/30)

I will be joining the NPT chapter of the ADK on a section hike of the NPT starting in Long Lake and ending in Lake Placid. I am thinking of heading up to Lake PLacid on Friday night and camping, but I am not sure where a good place would be to camp.



Would anyone recommend Copperas Pond Lean-To as a good place to camp or would you recommend another area.
