TR documenting a long journey in to Seymour Mtn from the winter trailhead at the end of Corey's Road this past Saturday (March 8). This was my friend Harold's final winter 46R peak, and it was only fitting that he have a contingent of friends with him to celebrate.
Three of the five of us approached the peak (all the way to the Ward Brook Lean-to) on skiis. While faster than hiking, a relatively thin snowpack at 2000 feet meant it was harder than expected.
