hey guys I am competing in 10 may (4 weeks) 62kg from now and I am really nervous and scared. I feel ready and not ready to join but I really want to go for out. my aim is to get a gold medal but my instructor says cause I am competing at 18 year it is going to be hard. so what can I do to increase my chances of getting a gold medal, is there is maybe a special way of training that you can advice me, or anything I can do to help me get a gold medal.
also my instructor think I should compete at 62kg, I am 67kg at the moment but I think I want to go lighter 55kg or 52kg because for my weight at 67 I am weaker than most people at this weight.
I am 168 cm, I checked the BMI (body mass index) and it suggests normal weight is 52-62.
so what do you guys think? should I drop to 52 and what are your training advice?
