Essex Chain Winter Access

Can anyone help with any current information regarding public winter access to the Essex Chain of Lakes from the Goodnow Flow area?

I was hoping to maybe explore this area a bit before the snow melts, and just wondering if there is an established winter parking area, and if so, where abouts it is located...

I would imagine there must be an existing snowmobile trailhead somewhere, no?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
