Paddling and private ppty on Lake Placid.

Before the DEC reads the forum and institutes a fee for hiking or bans bushwhacking I'd like to bushwhack to Mount Alton, which is a couple miles to the north of Lake Placid (the body of water that is).



Where can I park and put in? Is there anywhere along the northern shore of the lake where I can haul my boat out and stash it without trespassing?
