I'm headed into Lows Friday (10/24) to camp for a week and hunt deer around Tomar Mt. I'll probably be staying at site 35. I'm not a hard core big woods deer hunter, the real hunt starts here in Connecticut Nov 1st on my own woodlot.
I have a small wall tent, wood stove and really enjoy the whole experience. Hunting is just part of it. The weather looks good for an easy hunt, maybe too warm, but not bad for an old timer to sit in the woods and enjoy the surroundings.
I prefer to camp/hunt solo, but if your in the area and see a green wood canvas canoe at the site or on the lake, say hi. If I'm at the site stop in for a cup of coffee.
