Parked on Rte 9 just pass the nice North Hudson sign(on E side)on W side, unmarked dirt road led into the woods. With an SUV or truck you could of drove the 1st mile or so,the Camry stayed at the parking field just off the pavement.Easy walk down the road leads to a sharp S turn, look L for a faint short trail to the Schroon River.Waded across in ankle to mid calf slow water in sandals and then rebooted, from here you follow the stream to the Wyman Hill underpass of I87.The hiker's tunnel is just S of the water tunnel, headed NW uphill and shortly found the open ridge that leads over several bumps to the summit.Mostly very open Red Pine forest and open rock mixed with some tighter woods but nothing too bad.Summit was one big slab of rock but the best views were just yards away and very easily found.A beautiful day with no other hikers in sight.http://ift.tt/2c3KQFj Some pics. For more info and maps check this out.http://ift.tt/2cWV256
