I would like to try fly fishing for Steelhead this fall and was wondering what wt. fly rod would be recommended? The heaviest rod that I own is a 6wt. I guess that I could fish a 7wt. on this rod if I had to. Would a floating line work or would you recommend a sinking line? Thanks for any recommendations.
