Botheration Pond - March 21, 2014

Skied Botheration Pond Loop today from Old Farm Clearing. It was mid-winter conditions on the first full day of spring. Snow conditions were very good. A few inches of powder on top of a deep base. There are a couple layers of weak crust in the snowpack that I was breaking through on the downhills, but overall conditions were really good. I broke trail for the entire loop and I did not see anyone else out. There were just a couple of cars at the trailhead when I got back to my car. The sun came out just for a few minutes and reminded me that it is late March, the snow quickly got sticky. Great day out on one of my favorite loops!
