Any backcountry pike waters?

Planning a trip into the Adirondacks the first weekend of May, are there any backcountry waters that have pike in them? Or other areas where we can pike fish from shore?



Lacking that, any suggestions for trout in the Moose River Plains / West Canada Lake area?
