Family's first time trip to Adirondacks

Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for your generous help with the planning.

Also, it might prove useful to another family visiting for the first time.

Sep 9 - Sep 17.

2 boys (age 8 and 9) and I are all in. Wife and third boy (age 11) want to relax a bit.

Day hikes (family):

• Owls Head
• Mt. Jo
• Mount Van Hoevenberg
• Cascade Mountain (2 boys will make the call on Porter)

Day hikes (me and 2 boys):

• Adams Fire Tower
• Adirondack Mountain Reserve

Overnight (family):

• Lake Colden from Loj

Possible afternoon trip (if boys still have energy):

• Tenderfoot pools (will there be enough flow for water slide?)
