In Washington and a few other states in America there is a law called "mutual combat law" or something similar where you and another person are basically allowed to fight it out until one of you quits. There are no repercussions in regards to the law. The police basically send you on your way. They also ref if they are available. There is an infamous video of Phoenix Jones (Bellator MMA fighter who moonlights as a super hero) basically leg kicking a guy to Bolivia whilst a ref watches because the guy agreed to fight.
So really I'm just wondering what you all thought of this law? I've pretty much always been on the side of "two consenting adults can do what they like"with this one being possibly "two consenting idiots".
I'm also not educated on the laws regarding what happens if someone dies or if there are any other rules like "hands only" or whatever.
Anyway, definitely MAP worthy topic.
