So the arrangements of rides seems to be challenging. A commercial provider is available but I'd rather invest in gear than that fee they are charging.
Anyone do NPT as out and back? Park car, hike section, set up camp and spend the night, turn around and return to car?
Seems counter productive; but heck who is worried about productivity while hiking - still a walk in the woods.
Not sure what I am asking here, just curious if others have done this. I regularly return to trail head on same trail I climb a peak on so not really much different.
Could purchase two trail patches when done to make myself feel better...;)
