Again, the 4th time in 5 years I will paddle in about 12 miles from the put in to my campsite on Lows Lake to spend a week or so deer hunting out of my small wall tent, wood stove, cot, good eats but not to good to keep me in camp..
The weather is a concern this year, but what the heck, it builds character. At closing in on 69 yo I have all the character I need but I'm still going and maybe I'll be a better man when I come home. I told my wife this, but after 46 years, she just shrugged and said go ahead , do what you have to do, haha, a hunters wife I guess.
Yea, so Thursday on the paddle in I expect a steady rain but close to 55-60 F.
Saturday looks like rain/snow, good for young guys, the whole week under 45 F.
I have to be careful, but I know my limits and it should be a good hunt. I'll report back with a good story...ha
