Just got back from the adk this weekend. An awesome trip! My 3 year old caught his 1st brookie and I got my first brookie and brown! Also, got an unknown pan fish and fallfish (?). I don't have the brookie pics yet, but here are some of the others. The brookie is too big (pic, not fish).
Thanks to everyone who helped out with advice. All the fish are still swimming...found out they liked anything silver, even the split shot over a worm! Replaced the trebles on a cleo with a red single hook and took off the barb. Caught most from the dock at the cabin we stayed at, so they must be this year's stockings.
All in all, an awesome week. Coyotes yipping at night during our campfires (spotted 2 during the day), hiked over 10 miles as a family (awesome for our 3 year old) and had awesome full peak foliage scenery!
