Sand Lake

Hello All, Can anyone verify that I will be able to get to Sand Lake mid May. I am going in via the high falls loop and am concerned about the spring flooding being an issue. Anyone ever gone in May? My hiking partner seem really concerned that flooding may be an issue and the trail will not allow us to venture into Five Ponds.
