A great ski with a well-covered & packed trail primarily by skiers. Sank in 6-8” off trail and on lake. Anywhere from 1-2 ft deep (but dense and slow) off trail.
Saw two parties using lean-tos (#1 & 6). #2 (double wide) had roof rebuilt following fire some yrs ago. Trail now broken to #2 from 1. Numerous dogs out having a good time today.
Good views of Treadway & Pharaoh.
With warm temps, and almost mist all day the snow was soft/moist and near sticky (great packing). With the temps droping, might be slick tomorrow – or possibly crusty (none today).
Bridge over Mill creek well done (I hadn’t been there in a few years). 12 cars at trailhead.
